Constipation is when the number of defecations is less than 3 weekly ort here is more than 48 hours between 2 defecations, the defecation is harder than normal, is relatively a small quantity, the defecation is slow and difficult and feeling of fullness remains afterwards.

First step is always starting to eat healthy and introducing gradually small portions, eating five times a day foods that stimulate intestinal peristalsis.
One should avoid food that slow down intestinal peristalsis like cocoa, chocolate and fine extracted flour products.
Very important is to drink enough and to keep moving: getting up early, walk as much as you can, do sports in a regular way and spend some time in the nature.
